"Take away fish n chips was delicious, sister had a burger, great service"
"Great place for fishing bait and a small selection of fishing equipment also."
"Great staff good prices highly recommend."
5 The best mushrooms I’ve ever had! Excellent coffee . The waitstaff are delightful and sitting out on the deck was so pleasant. Extra praise for the binoculars they had for us to use. The ocean just glitters from this perched vantage point. Really great experience. Thank you
5 We love this cafe. This is a genuine gem in Scamander. The best place to eat!!!! Nowhere else. Everything is so fresh and tasty. The menu is impressive, so many delicious authentic dishes to choose from. Their sweets are also amazing. We stayed at Scamander for 4 days, and thank God this place existed. Just wonderful! The service is also impressive, very helpful and super friendly staff. The location is also fantastic! Honestly!! This is highly recommended!
5 Suddenly We saw this cafe and stop on this place. Perfect location and beach vibes. Amazing food and freshly served by staff. Staff was so kind and welcoming. Highly recommended. We had breakfast and lunch at this place.
4 Came here given that it's one of the best reviewed locations in Scamander. Went for dinner, hoping to have a steak sandwich (given all the reviews I saw about their sandwiches), but was informed that they were serving pizza only for dinner. Tried the meatlover pizza on the (kind of?) recommendation of the staff. It was okay, but if the other pizzas are like it, I likely wouldn't go back. It felt like a mix of many things, the crust was neither thick nor thin, the selection of meats wasn't necessarily what I would expect (I don't know if there was any pepperoni, it was hard to differentiate), and there was so much cheese (which tasted fine) that the pizza stayed scalding for a good 15-20 minutes. Best part was the caramelized BBQ sauce at the end of the crust. Definitely not bad, just nothing that I'd recommend. I also had a jam donut which was pretty decent. I think there's salt on it (?), which I really appreciated given that it really develops the flavor profile and is often forgotten. For 5 AUD it's worth a try to make up your own minds. Despite my okay experience at dinner, I had seen how so many reviews praised the breakfast options and decided to return the next morning. I ordered the eggs and bacon and the meal was fantastic. I'm not sure about their lunch options (I didn't get to try any), but their breakfast is definitely worth it and their strong suit based on my experience. Service was good at both dinner and breakfast, though in both cases cutlery wasn't out and their were no napkins (as in, none in the restaurant) when I went for breakfast. Gorgeous views of the beach and ocean as well!
5 A lovely cafe for breakfast while traveling to East Tasmania We enjoyed the sunrise with their nice muffin and coffee
4 As we were on the way to Saint Helens, this was a good spot to take a quick breakfast. It offers a great view on the ocean, and has comfortable seating. The menu is quite extensive, but the muesli dish with yoghurt was very disappointing as it even had popcorn in it. It was not tasty.
Customers often enjoy their great coffee, fresh mushrooms, and delicious sweets. The menu also includes vegan and vegetarian options, as well as small plates and pizzas.
